The SHIP’s BLOG

Written by Super User  /  Published: Wednesday, 08 January 2014

Welcome to our new website which we hope you like and find easier to use. We are taking the opportunity to keep all our friends and guests updated through a regular Ship's Blog. So if you have any updates, thoughts, nuggets of information about VICTOR'S history or general information about what we do, we would love to hear from you.

With a fair wind, Summer may be on it's way. It has been a long, hard slog getting Victor ready for the 2014 season. The annual dry docking requirement of the Maritime & Coastguard Agency, who license us, passed with flying colours and then it was down to preparation and painting. Right now, if you are passing the Old Custom's House in Ipswich Dock, Victor has her mast down and ready for the sails to be bent on. These have been dressed ready for the new season and should look lovely. Keep an eye out for us.

Must get on; chat with you again soon.

Why is it special?

Just want to say a huge thank you to all the S B Victor crew who helped make last Saturday such a great day for my partner and all our friends. The crew were all friendly, relaxed and efficient and couldn't have done more to make the evening better. Thanks to you all, and Victor herself, we had a truly memorable time. JW
