Barge Matches

The annual, historic Barge Matches on the Thames and East Coast rivers and trading ports - Pin Mill, Gravesend, Brightlingsea, Maldon, Medway - provide an unrivalled opportunity for entertaining clients or for groups of friends or colleagues who can experience the fierce but friendly rivalry which sees the best of the remaining Thames Sailing Barges in competitive racing.

Your guests will have ample opportunities to crew, enjoy the spectacle and engage in relaxed conversation.

Alternatively, you can host a pre-race quayside event for up to 60 people or follow the Barge Match with up to 40 guests. For those who wish to stay over, Victor can accommodate up to 12 guests.

There are 2 toilets and a shower together with a stove in the main saloon for extra comfort. There is a fully equipped galley with 6 burner stove and fridge freezer for self-catering or, alternatively, our hospitality partners, Sea Breeze Catering, will provide a fully hosted service with excellent locally sourced food and drink to meet your requirements.

To end the memorable day enjoy a private dinner or come as guests to the presentation of prizes and dinner.
