About The Event

Through November to January why not take the opportunity to experience one of East Anglia's finest wildlife spectacles on board Sailing Barge Victor, where you can see thousands of birds on the magnificent Stour Estuary. Sailing Barge Victor provides the perfect platform for your half day excursion, with experts on-board to help you get the most out of the bird-watching. Fully inclusive of complimentary tea, coffee and food. The bar is cash only.

Please note:

Boarding is 30 minutes before departure time. Sailing times are constrained by tides and cannot be delayed under any circumstances.

Disabled access: As SBVictor is a historic working barge, we do advise passengers that there are uneven surfaces, narrow walkways and steep steps down to the lower deck facilities which passengers attending must be aware of. In order to board the barge, passengers must also be able to use a gangway therefore, unfortunately there is no access for wheelchair users.

Under 16s must be accompanied by a paying adult. Under 5s: Free (one free child per adult)

Sailing Times: Birds by Barge lasts approx. 4 hours. Departure times vary; please refer to individual sailings for details.
