Season Launch - Picnic Cruise

To launch our new season we are offering a number of discounted picnic cruise sailing events. If you have not experienced a sailing trip with us before this is an excellent way to discover what a day out on the River Orwell is like.  Departing from the Old Custom’s House at Ipswich Dock, passing through the lock gates and sailing down the beautiful and historic River Orwell and under the Orwell Bridge. 

You are invited to bring a picnic and enjoy your lunch above or below deck. 

We have a fully licenced bar where you are able to purchase soft drink, and a range of beers, wines and spirits.  Please note that only drinks purchased on board may be consumed.

Please note that a minimum of 12 tickets sold is required in order for the barge to sail. In the event that less than 12 tickets are sold we will contact you to offer you an alternative date.

Please arrive a minimum of 15 minutes before departure time as sailing times are constrained by tides and cannot be delayed under any circumstances.

Due to the historic nature of the barge, access onto and around the barge is limited. Please email us for further details or if you have any concerns.
